The future?

Earlier this year in July, I got a new laptop with more power than my previous one and I decided to move all my Unity projects to it.

Mistakes were made, and then BIGGER mistakes were made, resulting in a load of corruption that killed my motivation to do anything. I think I've iterated by now that this mistake is why it should be considered "cancelled". Lots of scripts wound up broken, their contents replaced with junk data. Both the WEBGL build and a private PC build I made were compiled in il2cpp to make it harder to get assets like the scripts from the game, which has come back to bite me in the ass to make recovering this thing harder.

It hurt me personally because I was proud of what I'd put together and I see many people supporting me who want to see more, sometimes I still get emails about people following me, undoubtedly because of this project of mine. I had many MANY ideas for it but I didn't get around to doing all that much post-demo work because I wanted to take a break, I basically worked on the demo nonstop to get it my idea known in the world and it exhausted me from wanting to work on it (I suppose taking a break was a good thing.. there's much less things to recover that would be considered post-demo work).

There's still a lot of recovery work to be done, but it's possible I could get development for this thing back up and running. I have no ETA for when I can outright say "Development has resumed!" or if I will even be able to fully recover the project, but just know I still care about it.
