Ideas for a potential small update
It was by no means easy, but I got the main animation scene scripts back up and running. There's gotta be easier ways to do what the scripts do... Like, at least 4 of them are meant to work in conjunction with one another...
I don't want to quite say this will be back in development, because there's still a lot of things to iron out before it can go full swing.
I do however have some ideas for a small update I would like to make.
- The demo is unplayable on mobile because it requires the use of the enter key to bypass the age warning.
This should be solved by also using OnClick to get past both screens which should be simple enough to implement. - I worked on an opening cutscene around the time of developing the blowjob (and thus main scene coding) but I never ended up finishing it because I wanted to replicate the SM64 text box, but didn't know how. I think if I just cheap out and make it animation only/non-interactable it'd work, and an opening scene would add a little more flair.
- After the opening, there would be a simple menu to select between the oral scene and the (undecided) new scene. And on that note, I have this vision of a hub world with a watered-down SM64 like control scheme and feel to it to match the aesthetic, but I pretty much haven't gotten anywhere with it and don't know what I want to do with it.
- Originally, to go along with this hub world idea, my concept for costume/model swapping Peach was its own thing like in a closet. However, I have no clue how to make something like that persist throughout the game (as of right now) so what I'm considering redoing is a per-scene model swapping menu. This of course means that I have to create some alternate models that fit Peach's rig and proportions in advance. Not all of the ones I have in mind, but at least like 2. And to go with THAT, I had this idea for easter eggs to unlock some of them which I may figure out how to put in the demo for funsies. (Fun fact: I accidentally left the script for one of them in the demo, but the object is off-screen so not only can you not access it without a camera hack, the scene it would go to doesn't exist in the demo, so it just goes to the ending screen. BTW this is one of the few scripts that I still need to fix...)
- There's a couple bugs I need to address which are as follows: The remove bikini button is unable to re-enable the bikini GameObject, for some reason. It's simple OnClick code and won't fix no matter what I do, so I may have to do some Rube Goldberg BS just to fix that. Also, the camera angles button needs to be pressed twice before the camera angle actually changes, but works past that. I'm not sure what causes the problem but I need to look into it
So uh yeah. Dunno how to end this. Again, I wanna say there's still things that need to be fixed and there's no telling if this will ever reach major developments. After all my frustrations of the project getting corrupted and more with being unable to recover scripts due to being compiled with il2cpp, I don't know if I truly have the energy to go back to making this y'know? There's a lot of other things I want to make that are totally unrelated to this but I hardly have the right skill to do any of it.
